No, it’s not a mathematical formula of chill decoration… Reviewing some of our recent work, we have noticed that the white cube (square poufs) is in fashion as a basic element of chill out decoration in relaxing environments. It is like those seasonal garments that have to be in every self-respecting closet.
On the one hand there are the works we have done with the agency One2one Marketing, from Malaga, an elegant event agency that can organize from an unforgettable chill out wedding to a fashion show. On the first case, a link in Ronda, we can see how cubic poufs, tables and IOS couches in white (as well as Balinese beds) helped to brighten a sunny environment (the environment was crying out for white, because it does not absorb light but enhances it) and create a cozy and modern setting, also tidy and uninhibited.
Other photos of One2one in which you can appreciate the tranquility of the white combined with the straightness of the cubic:
And for another example we have the Taberna Rubí, whose furniture we have been in charge of, and who have been kind enough to send us the photographs that illustrate it (thank you very much!). We are talking about the oldest tavern in Segovia (according to Wikipedia), which with this new look adapts to new trends, using some of our new catalog proposals for the decoration of premises (link below).
In this case, as it is a furniture for indoor premises, white does not serve to reflect natural light, but to enhance artificial light and give a noticeable feeling of spaciousness and more space. In addition to the aforementioned cubic poufs and IOS divans, there are also rigid round poufs with legs that can be used as tables, cubic poufs arranged under tables to save space, stools and high tables…
Are we the only ones who, when imagining ourselves in this environment, were reminded of Blur’ s very elegant white video with which they paid homage to the disturbing Korova Milkbar from ‘A Clockwork Orange’? When you pass through Segovia you have to visit it and tell us how it looks.
