Today we are going to present one of the most interesting works in which Fiaka furniture has participated this year, specifically the pear poufs (in addition to providing trunks for the Big Brother 12+1 house, among others). It is the Milenio Titan Desert, an impressive bicycle race through the Sahara desert, which was held between April 29 and May 4, specifically in the Titan Vida initiative promoted by the company La Vida Es Bella.
As Juan Tudela, director of La Vida Es Bella and ‘experience man’ of Titan Vida, explains in this report, the objective of this campaign within the race was to raise awareness among runners and race organizers about environmental care in this natural environment. Tudela finished in last place last year, with more than 50 hours on his bike, and was the biggest witness of the waste generated by the sporting event. In addition to promoting a campaign to encourage respect for the environment, La Vida Es Bella pledged to contribute a sum of money to minimize the environmental impact of the race for each kilometer that Juan Tudela managed to run in this edition. The participant managed to finish the race and his company donated 4,500 euros to the cause.

As you can see, these are the pear poufs of our online store, with the corporate color of La Vida es Bella and its logo in the customization. On them has rested even the winner of the Titan Desert 2012, Roberto Heras, champion for the fourth consecutive time. In the women’s category, the winner was Rebeca Rusch (USA). And La Vida Es Bella presented its special award, dedicated to a runner who symbolizes the spirit of the brand and the Titan Vida campaign, to Santi Ribot, who after breaking his bike in a stage was able to walk 70 kilometers of desert and finish it.
This is not the first time we have received orders related to sports, we have also helped to create chill out spaces for kite surfing schools or sports clubs, since rest after exercise is one of the most important factors to improve performance. We are already looking forward to the Titan Desert 2013!
