Furniture with Heart: Our Collaboration with ‘La Casa dels Xuklis’.
At Fiaka, we believe that design has the power to improve people’s lives. That is why we are deeply proud of our track record in collaborating with initiatives such as ‘La Casa dels Xuklis’ in Barcelona. This project, promoted by the Fundació Privada de Nenes i Nens amb Càncer (AFANOC), is a benchmark of warmth and human support.
Since our inception, we have been committed to projects where the furniture is not only aesthetics, but a stimulus for relaxation and wellbeing.
A Family Refuge in Difficult Times
La Casa dels Xuklis’ was born with the aim of welcoming families who have to travel far from their homes for their children to receive cancer treatment. In this building, designed under bioclimatic criteria, the environment must be as welcoming as the home itself.
Our contribution to the project focused on creating spaces for play and relaxation that conveyed security and joy:

User-centered design: Low, safe and simple furniture, designed for children’s ergonomics and adults’ rest.

Therapeutic color palette: We use vibrant and fun colors to stimulate children’s moods, keeping a simple base that brings serenity to the environment.
