How to maintain and clean a Pouffe?

All our soft parts are easy to clean and maintain in perfect condition.

Backfill maintenance

In soft pieces, such as pear-shaped poufs, round poufs, Marina poufs, etc., the expanded polystyrene bead filling loses its recovery capacity with use. Over time, you may notice that your pouf may have less volume. You will only need to buy new stuffing and add it to your pouf when required. This maintenance is necessary to maintain the comfort of your pouf.

Cleaning of upholstered furniture and poufs

DAILY MAINTENANCE: For daily maintenance, wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient. Dry very well with a dry cloth. You can also let it air dry until all the moisture is removed.

DEEP CLEANING: For deep cleaning, use a scouring pad (non-corrosive) with soap and water (best with neutral pH) and scrub vigorously. Rinse with water until all soap is removed and dry well with a dry cloth. You can also let it air dry until all the moisture is removed.

Storing outdoor furniture in winter

We recommend that to extend the life and usability of outdoor furniture, store and protect the pieces in the winter and do not expose them to heavy rain, strong winds or other inclement weather. Bright colors are not sunlight fast. Clean the parts with a damp cap and allow to air dry for maintenance. For deep cleaning, use a scouring pad (non-corrosive) with soap and water (best with neutral pH) and scrub vigorously. Rinse with water until all soap is removed and dry well with a dry cloth or in the open air. Do not clean with hose or expose to watering or similar. Clean and dry the parts thoroughly before storage.

How much are the shipping costs?

At Fiaka we rely on fast transport with the best value for money. Shipping costs vary according to geographical area and product:

PENINSULA AND PORTUGAL: We only charge a one-time fee of 9,80€ for shipments to Peninsula, courier MRW, VAT included. For large shipments that need to be palletized, the shipping cost is 35 €/pallet and for large items such as Balinese beds, 42 €/pallet (specified in product information). You can also call us at 95 852 14 33.

BALEARIC ISLANDS: Shipping to the Balearic Islands has a price of 85 euros, VAT included, per box, not per unit, as there are many products that can go in the same box.

CANARY ISLANDS, CEUTA AND MELILLA: The shipping cost is 64€, plus 15€ in customs export expenses (total 79€), VAT exempt. As in the Balearic Islands, this cost is per box and not per product. The customer shall pay the import customs charges upon receipt of the purchase. This type of shipment does not include the cost of import duties for areas outside the European customs union, so you will have to pay the amount indicated on receipt of your order.

In the case of placing an order for large pieces such as chill out sofa, Balinese bed etc, it is very possible that we will contact you in order to offer you the best possible rate both in terms of quantity of pieces purchased as in postage to be paid, since being models that go beyond the strict measures of courier could have a supplement of payment. This payment supplement would be concluded with the customer before shipment, by means of a personalized quotation.

How can I make the payment?

The following payment methods are available: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Paypal, Bank Transfer, Cash on Delivery.

How does Cash on Delivery work? This payment is made when the courier delivers your order at the place chosen for delivery (never a P.O. Box). The Cash on Delivery payment method is the only one in which a 6% handling fee is charged for the collection, that is, the total amount of your purchase, plus shipping costs plus 6% reimbursement. You will know the amount of your purchase before you receive your order. (Payment method not accepted for shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla or for special orders or upon request).

Is it safe to use my credit card on the web? Yes. In the case of making your purchase with Visa and/or Mastercard payment, only CES (Secure Electronic Commerce) transactions will be accepted. All you have to do is provide your card number, card expiration date, and the security code that appears on the back of the card. In no case will you have to register your personal number or PIN. Fiaka does not store any bank details of its customers.

How do I pay by bank transfer? Once the order has been processed and this payment method has been selected, all the details of the account number will appear on the screen, as well as the recipient that must be specified at the time of payment. Once the payment has been made, you will have to send us a copy of it by e-mail or fax 958 26 08 43. In order to be able to ship as soon as possible.

What is the payment process with Pay Pal? It has the same process as the card payment. Once the order is confirmed, the page will redirect you to the Pay Pal website, where you will have to identify yourself, if you are already a customer, and make payment. Once we have confirmed on the Pay Pal page that your payment has been successfully completed, we will receive an email notification to be processed.

Delivery and shipping time?

For most of our orders the delivery time is 1-3 working days from confirmation of payment on the Peninsula, 5-7 working days for the Balearic Islands and 10-15 working days for the Canary Islands. This period may vary for some items that are made to order, in large quantities and palletized shipments. You can see the delivery time in the product descriptions. And if you need your order for a particular date, please contact us by phone or email.

Do you call me before delivering my order? When we ship your order, we will send you the shipment and shipping information so that you can contact the courier directly. Likewise, we always provide transportation with a contact telephone number so that they can contact the receiver if necessary.

For shipments to Peninsula we have two courier options, Zeleris and MRW. Although delivery time in both cases is 24-48 business hours, we recommend MRW courier for more complicated delivery schedules.

What if I am not at home when my order is delivered? Don’t worry, they will leave a notice for you to contact the courier and they will resend it to you at no extra cost.

How do the products reach my home? Pouffes and small pieces arrive at your home packed in a cardboard box with plastic inside to protect the piece. The items arrive completely ready to use, already assembled (if any part requires assembly, it is specified in the description of the products). The delivery of the order is home delivery, that is to say, it arrives directly to your home.

In case of palletized shipments, in no case, they will be unloaded inside the domicile or premises. The transport agency will be responsible for choosing the unloading site at the delivery address.

What if the product arrives damaged from shipping? When you pay shipping costs, you are paying for transportation insurance. If the package arrives at your home in bad condition or you observe any malpractice on the part of the carrier, note it on the delivery note that you sign to the courier and in the case of damaged goods, contact us to make the corresponding claim and proceed to the exchange of the material.

Can I return a product?

Yes. you may withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period shall expire 14 calendar days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquired material possession of the last of these goods (except for special, customized or customized products). Can I return a customized custom-made item? According to the LOCM Art 45 the consumer’s right of withdrawal and return is not applicable in this case. If you purchased an item according to your specifications or clearly customized (choice of color or special fabric (e.g. canvas, leather…), embroidered or personalized, custom-made or according to customer design), once manufactured, even if it has not been delivered to you, you may not withdraw from the purchase contract.

We remind you that when you make use of your right of withdrawal, the money paid for the product/s purchased will be refunded. Likewise, in case you choose the option of collecting the product at your home, the costs of the collection itself will also be borne by the customer (equivalent to the amount of home delivery by type of product and destination).>

When can I not return the product? You cannot return custom-made or customized products.

What is the warranty on Fiaka products? Fiaka products have a two-year warranty. During this period, if the purchased equipment manifests any material or manufacturing defect (not including necessary maintenance or customer malpractice), Fiaka may proceed, as appropriate, to repair or replace the equipment.

What if I just want to change the product? You can also change the product for another model, another size or another color. You only have to pay the shipping costs of the exchange (and of the product if the amount is higher). You can request the change in our e-mail or call us at 958 521 433.

  • The measurements of the Soft articles (Polystyrene Filler) do not correspond to those specified on the website. The measurements of Soft items are approximate.
  • The memory-stretch polystyrene foam filler loses elasticity with use and the soft parts need to be filled for optimal comfort.
  • Item colors may vary from the colors previewed on the website. Colors may vary on each monitor/computer.
  • Outdoor fabric parts need to be protected from inclement weather, winter and large amounts of water.
  • Special products, customized or made to order, damaged or soiled, cannot be returned.
