During these days, Christmas decorations inspire us in shop windows, streets and homes. Also in different deco blogs we find beautiful and more and more original ideas dedicated to the holidays. The proposals that have surprised us the most -mainly after enjoying the #quedamosen organized by Fran Soguero (@etxekodeco on Twitter) dedicated to Christmas- are far away from the traditional ornamentation of these dates. Instead, they opt for a simple atmosphere in which tranquility is breathed and excesses are avoided -only the tree sometimes escapes this rule.
It is, in general, a Nordic or Scandinavian style interior design (with some rustic or vintage touches in some cases) in which Mies van der Rohe ‘s maxim ‘less is more’ presides over the decoration as far as Christmas decorations are concerned.
Simple Christmas motifs based on natural materials or DIY elements, subtle lights and a bright white as the backbone – accompanied by neutral, pastel or black colors that seek soft contrasts – achieve an elegant atmosphere, with a special appeal for this holiday season.
To inspire you when it comes to recreate this different Christmas -to which we add the Christmas chill out corner that we proposed in our previous post – we review some ideas that different decobloggers propose in this line and that, we are sure, will set a trend.
With these beautiful images we wish you all a Merry Christmas deco!
