\n<\/b> is an idea that comes from the hand of Hosteler\u00eda de Espa\u00f1a, the Federaci\u00f3n de Cocineros y Reposteros de Espa\u00f1a (<\/span>Facyre<\/span>), the European community of Chefs Euro-Toques and Makro, and is part of the international project of <\/span>

The importance of hospitality and tourism in Spain<\/h2>\n

To realize the importance of this sector in the country’s economy, one only has to take a look at its turnover in previous years. In 2018<\/strong>, the hospitality industry had a total turnover of 123,612 million euros<\/strong>, accounting for 6.2% of the national GDP<\/strong>, according to data collected by the <\/span>“Anuario de la Hosteler\u00eda en Espa\u00f1a”.<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding employment, the hospitality sector reached 1.7 million workers<\/strong>, which is 71,000 workers hired more than in 2017<\/strong>. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
