“The ball I threw when I was playing in the park still hasn’t touched the ground.” We paraphrase these words of Dylan Thomas<\/strong> because sometimes we make the mistake of dropping the ball, understood as the child inside us, the one who has not forgotten his dreams and illusions and continues to strive to materialize them. Because as Neruda<\/strong> said “the child who does not play is not a child, but the man who does not play has lost forever the child who lived in him and who will be sorely missed”.<\/p>\n

We claim in this post the joy of being moved by the world and rediscovering it every day, as every little one does, without allowing time to rob us of the hope of building something better. And we do it to introduce you to a very special children’s leisure center<\/strong> with cafeteria<\/strong> located in Aguadulce<\/strong> (Almeria): Kids&Big.<\/p>\n

This unique space is designed for young and old alike, or, as its promoters explain, it is designed to enjoy leisure time regardless of age. Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mart\u00edn<\/strong> and Mar\u00eda del Carmen Mat\u00ednez,<\/strong> a young couple with two children, decided to start this project thinking of offering an ambivalent service to other parents like them. Thus, families have the possibility of leaving their children in this leisure center to have a drink in the bars in the area or stay and enjoy the cafeteria while their little ones are entertained in the play area. In both cases a monitor takes care of the children, who can develop their imagination with didactic games<\/strong> or have a great time in the Kids&Big playground<\/strong>, with ball structure included.<\/p>\n

In the decoration of this original ‘toy library’ cafeteria, two different atmospheres have been differentiated -each one with its own music- that share, nevertheless, the cheerful essence of the children’s side. With this idea in mind, we ordered rigid poufs from Fiaka Ambient in different shapes and colors. This comfortable chill out furniture<\/strong> with a casual air has been combined with the vintage retro<\/strong> touch of the Eames Eiffel Table<\/strong> and Eames Plastic Chair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to creating a cheerful atmosphere, which attracts the attention of children, the bright colors of the furniture transmit energy and positivism. The decoration of the premises<\/strong> has been designed, in short, so that moments of leisure and fun are ageless.<\/p>\n
