One of the most interesting branches of decoration and interior design is that of children’s decoration<\/strong>. Who doesn’t remember what their room was like when they were little? Old furniture inherited from siblings or cousins, furniture that belonged to the most distant childhood and accompanied us during adolescence, repaired doorknobs, nice and colorful furniture, proportionally smaller than those of adults, posters or children’s pictures, toys in sight<\/span>… The space where a child rests also influences his or her present and future personality, there is no doubt about it.<\/p>\n

At present, as for other types of decorations, there are trends, fashions or customs. We are going to summarize some of them in case you want to decorate a children’s room or redecorate it. We will start with the vinyls<\/strong>,

\n<\/a> and lamps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, there are the decorative vinyls<\/strong>. A fantastic and fanciful way to give life to the walls with drawings and characters, without damaging the wall, with precision and brightness. They come in a thousand shapes, brands and colors, and some at very good prices. We love the ones from Chispum, Mimilou, or Etic Etac, for example. And Blik’s Muppets are hilarious….<\/p>\n

When choosing children’s furniture<\/strong> it is important to take age into account, of course, and if the child is under 5 years of age we are betting on avoiding very protruding corners (for obvious reasons) or ‘climbable’ furniture (those of you who are parents know what we mean). As for soft furn<\/span>ishings, there are ranges of children’s furniture designed to be fun as well (after all, they are going to play with them too). And when it comes to lighting<\/strong>, first of all, the more natural light, the better the children’s decoration<\/strong> will be.
