All this while playing with a daring decoration, since there are not many places where you can have a coffee sitting on a toilet or share a night of tapas with your friends in a bathtub. All these elements make the experience at Sonrisa Kanaya a different experience for all our customers“, says the entrepreneur.

What started as a fashion project in Cordoba has become a broader project with official headquarters in Malaga and Granada, and presence in the best Andalusian multi-brand stores. “And this has only just begun,” says Antonio. “Our main objective is to establish ourselves in the current youth fashion scene by providing, more than just a product, a way of being, a way of acting. To get to this point we are in continuous collaboration with different institutions and celebrating Kanaya parties in various parts of Andalusia to reach all those people who are waiting to meet us and bring out the Kanaya within”. We, Fiaka, based in Granada, can attest that there are more and more young people with a smile on their clothes or in their bag. It is expanding as a brand identity.

But what does this philosophy consist of? “On being happy in life and showing it to people by transmitting that positive energy with a smile as a calling card. Waking up every morning with a smile on your face and a smile on your shirt. Since our beginnings, we define Sonrisa Kanaya as that smile that is drawn on your face when you achieve your goals, when you reach the objectives that you pursue at all costs. Like when you finally cross eyes with that person you’ve liked for a long time and you discover that it’s reciprocal. All those moments that make you smile are the philosophy that Kanaya wants to transmit”, explains its creator.

This philosophy of identification is accompanied by a simple and easy-to-remember Kanalla logo, a comfortable and discreet smile, a bit slapstick and light-hearted, with a touch of cheekiness. For a clothing line that wants to create something more than just a brand, it is essential to have a logo that fully meets the needs of the project, is recognizable and identifies with what it wants to convey (mythical examples: Lacoste, Adidas, Fred Perry…). In this case, the Kanaya Smile is this. Look for it on the street.

New times call for new scoundrels.
